Quidic is very unusual in that the differences between the plain and italic styles are mostly in the upper-case letters and numbers, while in most typefaces the differences are mostly in the lower case letters. The upper-case letters of the plain style, which are quite condensed and bold, may be useful for display purposes at larger sizes.Qwatic moves from Quidic toward more conventional letter forms. It has very small serifs, so is close to sans serif. It is hard to read at small point sizes because the contrast between the wide stroke size of the verticals and the small stroke size of the horizontals is so great. However, at larger point sizes it looks fairly nice. </text>
